I had a meeting that I recorded audio for with Voice Memos on the phone. I asked ChatGPT and Claude both to transcribe the audio and summarize and both failed spectacularly. I expect Claude failed because of OpenAI (they appear to use OpenAI’s API for that function). Both failed trying to upload the file from the desktop. Gemini? Sailed right through the task.
